HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our fencers and welcome to the first Thursday fencing in 2026!
A couple of important things for you to note please:
- HEATING IN THE SPORTS HALL
The school have notified us they are having problems with the heating in the sports hall.
It may be fixed by this evening or it may not, but the school have said we can use the hall regardless.
We didn’t to have to cancel our first session, so we’re going ahead: please come prepared in case of cold temperatures!
- BEGINNER COURSE
Our next Beginner Course starts tonight (another reason why we didn’t want to cancel)
We have 5 newbies booked and we’ve asked them to come early to get kitted up ahead of time.
Please give them our usual warm (!!) SAFC welcome and keep an eye out for anyone looking lost and in need of assistance.
