06.03 We’re back to normal this week so we welcome back our Beginners.
Thanks to everyone that attended the Club AGM last Thursday. It was great to see it so well attended and many new faces. Some really good discussion about the club and fencing.
3 COUNTIES LEAGUE: MATCH REPORT
On Tuesday we travelled to Hitchin for our first 3C League match of 2025.
We knew it would be tough, and it was.
Foil first and Hitchin fielded a strong team (including one with a tiny target area!) and beat us pretty comprehensivley 8-1. Not unexpected, and it could have been worse – at least we won one! (thanks Dan)
Epee followed and we pulled that one back, winning 5-4.
So overall a match win for Hitchin but we did win the Epee.
Good fun was had by both teams and it was a great season opener. Our next match is at home, hosting MK.

EASTERN REGION SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS (& GB CUP QUALIFIER)
