ACCESS ISSUES – TONIGHT & MAY AFFECT NEXT FEW WEEKS
[1] Please note that Watling Street is closed at the junction with St Stephen’s Hill (King Harry Roundabout).
Be prepared to detour accordingly & expect additional traffic.
This is expected to be in place for the next couple of weeks.
[2] For reasons unknown to us, the school has put a (partial) barrier across the path on the corner of the building.
It’s not completely blocking the path, but narrows it considerably.
If you have a large or wheeled kit bag, you might find it easier going through the tennis courts – we are told the gates will be open.
ARMOURY EVENING 18.09
Next Thursday there is NO FENCING due to a school event.
Thanks to those that have booked the Armoury Evening – we now have a full complement of 20 places filled.
This will take place at the Prae Wood Arms from 8pm. The club is organising some food – sandwiches and a finger buffet – menu as follows:
Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements, so we can inform the venue in good time.

Numbers are initially limited to 15 each for weapon (Epee / Foil / Sabre) though we may alter caps depending on entries.
As in previous years it will be possible to enter multiple weapon categories. There will also be a Master At Arms award for the best results in all 3 weapons.
Please book as early as possible as this really helps us plan the event and avoids disappointment if you miss out!
LONDON REGION TEAM COMPETITION
Mixed M&F and all 3 weapons on Sunday 19.10
As this is a team comp, the club will cover the entry fee (for a team of SAFC Fencers)
