We are hosting BEDFORDÂ for our final 3 Counties League match of the year!
Last week we hosted LUTON SWORDS and here’s Team Captain Richard R’s match report:
It was a close match! Our foilists started us off strong with a 6-3 win. Over to epee and Luton brought a solid team with a strong new addition. SAFC fell foul of close 4-4 losses, with 4 matches reaching that and going against us on the final hit. It’s a winner take all format and Luton won epee 7-2.
Overall SAFC lost the match a close 8-10, taking a bonus point from the night for our foil win.Â
Shout out to everyone on the team tonight, especially the new faces Bonnie and James! We host Bedford next week, let’s go SAFC!

Unfortunately the school is closed for an inset day on Monday 25/11 and not available to outside hirers. Thursday’s session will run as normal.
