THURSDAY 25.06
We intend to run Thursday’s session as normal, so if you plan to attend, please note the following:
⚠️ HEATWAVE UPDATE: PLEASE READ BEFORE ATTENDING A TRAINING SESSION ⚠️
As we navigate this week’s very hot weather, we want to make sure everyone stays safe while enjoying their fencing, so we will keep an eye on the venue’s temperature and follow British Fencing’s guidance.
Please keep an eye on those around you and, if you have any concerns about either your welfare or someone else’s, please speak to a member of the committee immediately.
Your main individual responsibilities are to listen closely to your body, adapt the intensity of exercise, and drink appropriate amounts of water before, during and after training. Please remember that there is zero pressure to train in this weather. If there are any factors (eg health, lifestyle, age, etc) that may impact your ability to exercise in adverse temperatures, please consider whether it is appropriate to attend the club.
