When signing in, please ensure all information is entered correctly, including what type of payment you make, whether you are signing in for a beginners course, emergency contact details and BF number.
This information is important in the event of an emergerncy or accident and assists the Club with administration. Thank you for your co-operation.

The club ladder league for Q3 finished on 30 September. Results will be announced TONIGHT!
COMPETITION ROUND-UP
There’s been a few competitions happening over the last few weeks while we’ve been off-line.
3 COUNTIES LEAGUE (match report by Team Cap’n Richard R)
Last Thursday, we had a 3 Counties League match away to Dacorum tonight and it was a nail biter!
Epee first, and it wasn’t looking good when we lost our first 4 fights (5 is needed for the win). But the SAFC team dug in and proceeded to win the next 4…. Alas a tight finish led to a win for Dacorum 4-5 in the final bout.
For foil it was also close, with SAFC securing the win by 5-3 with a bout spare.
The mathematicians out there will have noted that the last foil bout was a decider for the overall match: win for SAFC or a draw…. Dacorum held on to bring the result to 5-4, meaning a 9-9 draw for the night. Lots of close bouts and fun fencing!🤺 Thanks to the team: Lindsay, David, Simon and myself. Solid effort and very close!
VETERANS WINTON CUP
A few weekends ago it was the BVF Winton Cup, at which SAFC’s very own Lisa & Rachel (Foil) and Richard R (Epee) represented Eastern Region.
Always a tough team competition, Women’s foil came 2nd out of 10! Congrats to Lisa and Rachel, this was Eastern’s best result across the 6 weapons! Men’s epee finished 6th of 10, and Eastern Region finished 4th overall GBR region! Was a fun weekend! (Thanks Lisa for the narrative)
