FENCING TONIGHT 23.07
Fencing is on tonight, in the main sportshall. So that means group warm-up / footwork session to start and individual coaching lessons available.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:Â YOUR CLUB NEEDS….
We are looking for volunteers.
First, with the Open Air just 6 weeks away, we need helping hands for the prep and set-up. Most importantly we need people at the start of the day to help set out pistes, tables, refreshments, etc. This should not interfere with your fencing and just means getting to Marlborough an hour or so before check-in. There’s also food and drinks for the BBQ to be bought in the days leading up to the event, so please let the committee know what you can commit to to help it run smoothly.
Jorel has also stood down as Club Armourer – the club thanks him for his work – so we need to fill the role. If you can wire a mains plug and know how to use a multimeter, you’re qualified. If you can tell the difference between 6mm and ¼” allen keys with your eyes closed, even better. If you can’t, but would like to learn, we can train you up. Just speak to JD.

BEGINNER COURSE: DATE CHANGE
 Our next Beginner Course was originally due to start tonight. This has now been pushed back until after the summer. It will now start on Thurs. 24.09
